Joined: Fri Dec 15, 2017 10:01 pm Posts: 3 | I finally made it to my FFL to pick up my P89DC that bought off Gunbroker. It appears to have been carried more than it was fired. There's typical carry wear, but extremely little signs of wear on its internals. The 305-xxxxx serial number dates to the first year of P89 production in 1993. I took it down, and gave it a good cleaning and lube, as it looks like it been sitting unused for years. I hope to make it to the range tomorrow for a work out. I still need to get some full cap mags, as it shipped with a single 10 round.

I've heard Metgar mags will work on both the original and newer ones.. I have one of the first P89s and actually figured out how to modify the pistol to take newer mags.. not that hard if you can figure out how to get the mag disconnect pin thingy out.. _________________ Blume CSIA #599 DCS
